Industrial Energy Management

For many industrial operations, energy represents one of the largest costs of production. As energy costs continue to rise, Energy Management is becoming an increasingly important part of a successful industrial operations strategy. There are many ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy costs for your facilities - if you know where to look. Levelton Consultants has a proven track record of helping clients obtain these energy cost savings through the application of engineering and economic principles.

Energy Management in Practice

Cost savings achieved through energy management may result from:
  • Improvements in efficiency due to optimization of energy conversion technology.
  • Reductions in energy use and / or purchase costs due to changes in patterns of energy use.
  • Substitution of one energy source for another.

Energy Efficiency Assessment Program

Productivity Alberta, a department of the Government of Alberta, has implemented a new program to subsidize 50% of the cost of an energy efficiency assessment (max. $25,000) to organizations who have:
  • Less than 300 employees;
  • Energy expenditures greater than $175,000, but less than $5,500,000; and
  • Management who have demonstrated their commitment to reducing energy use.
Levelton is a Productivity Alberta pre-approved vendor and we can help your enterprise in applying for Productivity Alberta funding.
